How to play

Finish with more discs of your color. Black always moves first.

Place a disc. Choose an empty square that traps at least one opposing disc between your new disc and another of your discs.
Flip every capture. All trapped discs flip to your color, horizontally, vertically, and diagonally. Captures must form an unbroken line.
Keep taking turns. If you have no legal move, your turn passes automatically. You cannot pass when a legal move exists.
Count the discs. When neither player can move, the game ends—even if empty squares remain. Most discs wins; equal scores are a draw.

Small rings mark legal moves. The outlined disc marks the most recent move. Corners can never be flipped—choose them wisely.
